Scientific name of Sesame Seed is Sesamum indicum. It is an annual seeding crop that will achieve 4 to 6 feet in height at maturity. Sesame seed is used for feeding turkey, duck, dove, pheasant, rabbit, quail, and other food plots. Plant after the last frost has passed and has reached an average temperature of 60 degrees F or higher.
